Not only does Lone Peak currently hold the most ski able acres, over the next few years this mountain will also have the most inbound extreme skiing and most vertical feet. Lone Mountain Ranch grooms about 75 kilometers of cross country ski trails through meadows, woods and the Big Sky golf course.

Winter activities include downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and riding snowmachines. Summer activities include fly fishing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting wildlife and golfing.
